We are pleased to inform you that our project, “Diversification and Development of Bison Population in North Western Poland” has been extended to 30 July 2019. We have received funding to continue our project so we will continue BOŻ and PŻ activities such as:
- Supply bison feed to feedrack in 2018/2019 season
- Continue PŻ activates (intervention, assistance in accidence, scaring away bison from valuable cultivation)
- Immobilization and put on GPS collar
Furthermore, we will establish “mobile feeding”. This consists of delivering food to the new group of bison; living inside and outside of the project borders. The goals of this action is to consolidate the presence of bison in the new area.
